## Performance & Reliability

The discovery service is exercised under sustained load to validate throughput, query latency, and `on_discover` callback health over time.

## API Performance Benchmark

The discover API (`POST /discover`) was benchmarked against a catalog of **1 million resources** using JSONPath filtering at 50 concurrent users, with **zero errors**:

| Configuration              | Throughput | P95 Latency |
| -------------------------- | ---------- | ----------- |
| Standard (2 CPU · 2 GB)    | 35.6 req/s | 1,519 ms    |
| Performance (4 CPU · 4 GB) | 70.5 req/s | 992 ms      |

## Soak Test

📄 [**Discover Soak Test Report**](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jCO6jjhqz7LLREJuspViKYtrD2zKhwju/view)

Covers a soak run against the Discovery stack under sustained load; maintained externally.

## Functional Test Scenarios

The functional scenarios execution sheet tracks the discovery test cases — covering text, spatial, JSONPath, and combined search modes, along with their expected and observed outcomes.

The sheet is maintained externally and updated as scenarios are added or re-run.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.nfh.global/product-documentation/products/discovr/reports.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
